It all started with Elmer’s glue.

It all started with Elmer’s glue. Just a few years ago (give or take 15), I watched my mom sew gems on t-shirts; which she sold at her little gift shop in downtown Honolulu. Like all young girls, I was at the stage where everything needed a touch of purple. Soon a few of my shirts were adorned with purple gems, but not all; and that, in those days, was a problem. I quickly learned that needles hurt, but glue...white like vanilla ice cream dries clear. Over the years, safe Elmer’s glue became toxic industrial glue which led to crimp pliers; and from embellished shirts to puff paint sneakers and now draping leather necklaces. However, one thing hasn’t changed, I continue to stick a little bit of me where ever possible...Welcome to Piecemaker Jewelry.
